This week we said a hard goodbye. Our dear friends and ministry partners, the Days, returned to the US for a new chapter in their journey with God. For more than a decade, our families have pulled together on the same side of a struggle. We’ve been through joys and sorrows, and made memories together in our adopted Ukrainian home. While the Days will continue to minister with us as part of ETO, they will no longer be on this side of the ocean. Boy, will we miss them!

To help them with their move, we kept the Day kids at our house several times while Nathan and Katelin worked. One afternoon, Rebekah organized a tea party as a fun event for the kids.

The Days made it safely to Houston last Tuesday. God be with you till we meet again, friends. ❤
For Valentine’s Day, Joshua made me a coffee with this beautiful heart on it. He has enjoyed learning how to use his new espresso machine, and usually has a daily order from the girls of flat-whites and chai tea lattes to help him hone his skills.

I grow more thankful every day for this man and the life we share together! God is good.

…Because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3: 22-23
A beautiful, sad goodbye. Love the pic of you and Joshua.

Praying for you all in these days of darkness there in the Ukraine.
