Today we celebrated our sweet and spunky Kathryn turning 5! This little girl is Miss Do-It-Myself, a natural leader, smart, and full of lots of emotions.
One of our fun activities was a trip to the party store to pick out party plates and cups. When you have 6 kids, their socks don’t always match. 😉 And your living room is stacked full of Christmas presents that Mom *might* find time to put bows on.This rainbow cake was Kathryn’s specific request.Happy 5th birthday, Kathryn! We pray God’s richest blessings on your life!
Meanwhile, Little Mia turned 5 months on the 22nd. She is snuggly, sweet-tempered, and sleeps well most of the time.
In my mind, 4 to 5 months is the golden age of babyhood. This girl is such a blessing!“Gotcha!” She’s learning to use her hands more everyday.Mia loves giving “kisses” to whomever’s cheek happens to be nearby.Sittin’ with the big kids during morning Bible time.Trying out the new wagon – a baby gift from grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! I’d say it’s a hit!Mommy and Mia
Hey! I’m Kelsie, wife to Joshua, and mom to 6! I have a growing fascination with words and the art of writing. Sharing a great book with my kids is among my favorite pastimes, or just enjoying one for myself over a cup of tea. My days are full of teaching, daily walks, and let’s face it, lots of messes, noise, and food prep. ;) An important theme in my life since I was very young has been fellowship with Jesus Christ through the truth of the Bible. This blog is a place where I share our family life and reflections from my walk with God.
